We are not a normal garden center. You won’t see rows and rows of plants that have been potted and forced to bloom. Rather, our plants are in the ground and growing and blooming at their normal schedule. To see them in bloom and if you’re looking for primrose, you need to come in the spring; if you’re looking for daylilies, you need to come in mid-summer; if you’re looking for Japanese Anemone, you need to come in the fall. Our perennials have been in our gardens at least one year and are accustomed to Michigan weather.
Each spring a few plants are dug and potted for your shopping convenience but for the most part, we dig as plants are requested.
Stop by often and stroll through the gardens and select a plant for a specific location, height, color or bloom time from hundreds of varieties. Bonus, I’ll answer your questions and offer suggestions from my gardening knowledge and experience.
