Meet Tot, our greeter and mascot!
It all began in the garden.....
In 2003 a truckload of topsoil was delivered to the front yard, and more than 200 perennials were moved from our former home. Most survived, and the process of designing small gardens and paths began. The plants multiplied quickly due to God’s gifts of sunshine and moisture and outgrew their space. In 2007 a small sign in the front yard enticed gardening enthusiasts to stop and purchase plants. I met many wonderful people, exchanged gardening stories and ideas never thinking of starting a business. In 2008 Sandywood Gardens was born.
Perennial sales continued to bloom. Growing from there, workshops to design custom upcycled glass sculptures, flowers, gazing balls, sand cast leaves, hypertufas and stepping stones have been added.
Currently, branching out, we offer obelisks, decorative window or framed art using repurposed glass. Fairy gardens, as well as hand crafted houses and accessories, are the latest trend and fun for all ages. Attend as a family or cultivate and renew friendships—sit—relax--while enjoying “Tea in the Garden” (luncheon).
I invite you to stop by often throughout the season to “smell the flowers” and enjoy the ever-changing landscape. God continues to bless me with the privilege to care for His beautiful creation. I look forward to meeting you.......
